[email protected] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|RESOLVED |UNCONFIRMED Resolution|NOT_AN_OOO_ISSUE |--- --- Comment #2 from [email protected] --- Hi I am running version 4.1.7 Base on windows 10 Home version 1909 My aim is to create a "MonthList table" for use as a list box in a form that has 6 MMMM formatted fields in its corresponding table. I have tried setting a primary key to the Month field (MMMM format) in the table - and setting a separate ID field primary key (integer format) with auto entry. both ways end up producing "December" when I attempt to input the Month names whatever month I enter into the Month field in data entry mode. On the surface of it it looks as tho the example given in the date format options box has somehow become a fixed default and can't be overwritten. Causing December to always appear after moving the focus. The only way I am able to get a workable form is to not employ the Date format and use text VARCHAR instead which presumably means that I will not be able to use date based queries.
