In my case, I get two *different* prompts when I open a spreadsheet file that contains 16 links to another file in one column and one link to the same file in another column. The first prompt is "Update all links?". The second prompt is "This file contains links to other files. Should they be updated?". I get the second prompt even after I respond "No" to the first prompt.
