It takes me 2 mins 39.017 secs to compile it this way, so I don't think the timing is a big issue. For experienced guys who wanna fast build, they could set specific option to only compile for certain platforms. But for default, I would strongly suggest making it more "dummy", to remove some roadblocks for beginners.
