I'm curious, however, can you help me understand how this blocks your team - you can surely use this feature branch in your internal deployments, no? This in general concerns me in that I do not think we should set a precedent where we start accepting pull requests that are incomplete, works in progress, etc. because they are "blocking" certain private deployments. This should not be confused with a statement about the state of this particular pull request, or a statement against staging commits to deliver new and potentially disruptive functionality in small self-contained drips for which this project has a strong history of doing.
