For testing, I took a semi-manual approach. Locally, I set the [canaryTimeout](https://github.com/apache/incubator-openwhisk-package-kafka/pull/186/files#diff-69445c13f31bd9b6a0771e853f0e454cR27) value well below the `canaryInterval` value, causing the changes feed to get reset automatically about every 30 seconds.
