Hey [~dongjoon] was just checking the code and it seems that PPD pushdown for
the C++ Reader was only recently merged to master (1.7.0).
ORC-40 (#461) was used to track this feature -- not sure whats the plan is here
but AFAIK backports should only target Fixes and not features right?
