Marton Elek commented on HDDS-1639:
-----------------------------------

I talked about our CSI implementations and follow-up patches and NOT about
POSIX compliance. Please check the CSI related pull requests, you can see
various comments from multiple people.

Please note that [CSI
spec|https://github.com/container-storage-interface/spec/blob/master/spec.md]
itself doesn't give any POSIX guarantee:

bq. CSI provides no guarantee that volumes provided are POSIX compliant
filesystems.

I checked our documentation and there is a documentation mistake in S3.md "It
could be used to mount any Ozone bucket as posix file system."

I agree that it's wrong, and should be fixed ASAP. But CSI itself doesn't
guarantee anything related to POSIX, so our implementation is independent of
the complience of Goofys.

> Documentation page should be updated according to the recent changes:
> In the uploaded PR I modified the following:
> # Pages are restructured to use a similar structure what is intruced on the
> wiki by [~anu]. (Getting started guides are separated for different
> environments)
> # The width of the menu is increased (to make it more readable)
> # The logo is moved from the main page from the menu (to get more space for
> the menu items)
> # 'Requirements' section is added to each 'Getting started' page
> # Test tools / docker image / kubernetes pages are imported from the wiki.
