@jojochuang so what should we do with this? I agree that building many fat jars would be a burden, both for build time and release size. If we want to test integration with these third-party components, we also need the jars. Alternatives I see: 1. hide the submodules behind profiles in this repo 2. move the submodules to a "contrib" repo 3. move to per-module repo (like Trino's `trino-hadoop-apache`) 4. contribute to the third-party components (Trino, etc.) if they accept it -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
