Description:
I have access to a production cluster. Looking at the fileTable and
directoryTable cache metrics, I realized both of them have very low hit rate.
If the numbers are correct, that means the cache doesn't make much difference:
fileTable
table_cache_metrics_hit_count 3524
table_cache_metrics_miss_count 2564436740
hit rate: 0.00013741809%
directoryTable
table_cache_metrics_hit_count 22190417
table_cache_metrics_miss_count 8684501508
hit rate: 0.255517452%
bucket table and volume table cache are usually hit though
