Krishna Kumar Asawa commented on HDDS-12319:
--------------------------------------------
I believe this is expected as File and Directory Tables are partialcache only
till it is flushed to RocksDB. [~sumitagrawal]
> fileTable directoryTable cache hit rate extremely low

> I have access to a production cluster. Looking at the fileTable and
> directoryTable cache metrics, I realized both of them have very low hit rate.
> If the numbers are correct, that means the cache doesn't make much difference:
> fileTable
> table_cache_metrics_hit_count 3524
> table_cache_metrics_miss_count 2564436740
> hit rate: 0.00013741809%
> directoryTable
> table_cache_metrics_hit_count 22190417
> table_cache_metrics_miss_count 8684501508
> hit rate: 0.255517452%
> bucket table and volume table cache are usually hit though
