I agree, I don't think we need this anymore. It would likely create a
race/conflict with the replication manager, where the user and RM end up
undoing or redoing each other's work. If replication is not progressing for
some reason, manually triggering commands is not going to be sustainable at
scale and there is likely another issue in the cluster that needs to be
resolved.
