{{SnapshotDiffJobCodec}} was originally implemented using Jackson because
{{SnapshotDiffJob}} had no protobuf definition. Now that protobuf support
exists, the plan is to drop the entire Jackson implementation, including the
codec and {{{}snapdiff.db{}}}. This aims to simplify maintenance and remove
dual codec support.
