Review Comment:
   The approach used is similar to the HDFS xceiver approach, where an open 
file on the client ties to an open file on the server. This leads to relatively 
simple code on the server side, only needing to open the block file once and 
could allow for fadvise type things about readahead if we wanted in the future. 
If this approach is used, we will need to greatly increase the datanode handler 
pool size, but this seems to work well on HDFS where it is common to allow 
between 4k - 32k xceivers in extreme circumstances.
