After HDDS-14735, there are some places are calling serialize to eventually
pass int values over the network, although it looks like they should be
migrated to passing in ComponentVersion and leaving the serialization for the
lower level translation layers. These include methods in:
Pipeline
DatanodeDetails
DatanodeUsageInfoProto
OmKeyInfo
StorageContainerLocationProtocolClientSideTranslatorPB
Placements into auditMap
