Chi-Hsuan Huang commented on HDDS-15571:
----------------------------------------

Hi [~ptantri] I was interested in picking this up, but while reviewing the
current master branch,  but I couldn't find the code for the "SOLR is HEALTHY /
UNHEALTHY" alert, so I wanted to confirm before going further.

The only Solr-related code I came across is the Heatmap health check backend.
On the frontend I couldn't find anything that renders the Solr alert or
notification, and nothing seems to call that health check endpoint.

I'm assuming this might be an internal/downstream issue? Or could you let me
know which version or branch you saw this on, that would really help, thanks!

> Project: Apache Ozone
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Ozone Recon
> Reporter: Pruthvi Tantri
> Priority: Major
>
> Issue:
> * While Solr is healthy in the cluster, the Overview page shows “SOLR is
> HEALTHY” under Alerts.
> * All other pages of Recon shows “SOLR is UNHEALTHY” even though SOLR is
> healthy.
>
> Expected behavior:
> * In Overview page, If SOLR is HEALTHY it shouldn't be shown as Alert
> instead can be a “message/Notification”. Only if SOLR is in unhealthy state
> should display as an “Alert”
> * All other pages should show the right message - same as the overview page.
