I have opened https://github.com/apache/ozone/pull/10968 for this issue and am
working on it. This is my first Ozone contribution, so I can neither assign the
issue to myself nor move it to Patch Available. If someone with the right
permissions could grant me the contributor role in the HDDS project, I will
keep the issue state up to date from here on.
The column shows the replication variant rather than the bare type, as the
description asks: Ratis-3 for Ratis buckets and RS-6-3-1024k for EC buckets. It
reads replicationConfigInfo, which the Recon bucket endpoint already returns,
so there is no backend change.
One deviation from the description: the column renders plain text instead of
reusing themeIcon, because the change that generalizes themeIcon (HDDS-13623)
has not merged. The icon can be layered on top once that lands.
A screenshot of the rendered column and the unit test details are in the pull
request.
