Preparing for the **native** (not using x86 JVM via Rosetta 2) Apple Silicon (darwin/osx aarch64/arm64 architecture) development environment. See plugin release notes: https://github.com/salesforce/proto-backwards-compat-maven-plugin/releases Side note: I am able to dev and run tests in IntelliJ with darwin arm64 native JVM after compiling arm64 for 3 different protobuf versions, and compiling rocksdbjni 6.25.3 for osx-aarch64 (which is significantly faster than using x86 JVM with Rosetta 2 translation layer).
