I see from the latest updates that the xcompat tests are covering the service info call from new client to old OM and some bugs were fixed there. It would be good to test the code path were the new client is supposed to stop the request, but I understand that will be easier to automate when the request hooks are incorporated into the client later. If it's not too much work I think a manual test of trying to create an EC key with a new client and old server and verifying it fails gracefully would be good to cover these changes. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
