Some reasons to not compress re-replication traffic:
(1) performance wise, uncompressed has higher through
(2) data is usually compressed. For example, Parquet file is usually compressed
with snappy
(3) Transparent compression is being proposed. (HDDS-7350)
(4) Data may be encrypted via Transparent Data Encryption, in which case data
is not compressable.
