Wei-Chiu Chuang commented on HDDS-9482:
---------------------------------------

This Jira is related: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-16454

HTTPFS can use zookeeper to share delegation tokens between instances. But
looks like it's not common to deploy in such a way.

The thing I don't understand yet is, where is the delegation token stored
persistently if not zookeeper? Or is it ephemeral?

> Review ZK and Curator dependencies, and get rid of them if possible

> We already had a similar effort as part of the HTTPFS GW integration. At that
> time [~weichiu] said that it is related to delegation token storage and KMS
> integration as well not just with HTTPFSGW integration.
> Let's see if we can remove these dependencies once more.
