[markdown lint|https://github.com/markdownlint/markdownlint] is a popular
option supporting many rules. The original is Ruby, but there is also a
[javascript version|https://github.com/DavidAnson/markdownlint], [CLI
version|https://github.com/igorshubovych/markdownlint-cli] and [github
action|https://github.com/DavidAnson/markdownlint-cli2-action] we could use.
