`CachingFileIO` has no executor hop of its own to remove: a block miss in `CachingSeekableInputStream.readRemote` is a direct `preadFully` on the remote stream, and the inherited `readVectored` keeps `sequentialReadFallback` on, so a lone range is already read on the calling thread. The vector reader is the one caller that turns the fallback off, and it reaches `CachingFileIO` through the default `global-index` whitelist, so this PR already covers that path. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
