### Purpose `commit.strict-mode.last-safe-snapshot` currently controls both the lower bound for commit-history lookup and strict checks for concurrent snapshot changes. This prevents callers from bounding history lookup while disabling the additional strict checks. Introduce `commit.last-safe-snapshot` with the old key as a fallback, and add `commit.strict-mode.enabled` (default `true`). Disabling strict mode leaves the history bound, commit deduplication, and regular conflict detection active. As before, strict checks require a configured last-safe snapshot. The old Java constant and accessor remain available as deprecated compatibility APIs. Update core, Flink, and Spark callers to use the new key, and document the independent options. ### Tests - 54 focused core test cases passed: option fallback and precedence, legacy API compatibility, bounded history lookup and recovery deduplication with strict mode disabled, strict-mode conflict checks, and postponed commits. - `DeleteActionDataEvolutionITCase#testActionsFromSameSnapshotConflictInsteadOfBeingFiltered` passed. - Clean reactor builds of Flink common and Spark common passed with `-Pflink1,spark3`. - Spotless and `git diff --check` passed. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
