## Summary - Assume the current paimon-rust API in native plan eligibility and remove obsolete version/method probes. - Remove the obsolete absent-split-bridge sentinel from native reads while retaining fallbacks for unsupported formats, query authorization, and actual conversion/read failures. - Update unit tests to assert the current native path rather than older Rust fallback behavior. ## Validation - Native plan/read: 364 passed (including REST fixtures). - Data Evolution: 74 passed; scan/streaming/read helpers: 39 passed. - flake8 and git diff --check passed. Vortex write tests were excluded after a segmentation fault in the unchanged write_buffer.materialize path.
