Requirement fit: SUPPORTED. A CHAR read-side padding Project gives V1 UPDATE an attribute ID that its bare relation cannot resolve, causing an analysis failure for normal UPDATE statements. Rewriting aligned values and the condition to relation attributes addresses that path, and the tests cover untouched, predicate, assignment, and correlated uses across table modes.
