Requirement fit: SUPPORTED. ARRAY/MAP BLOB columns are a real batch-processing path, and Ray transformations can erase source metadata or infer UTF-8 map values as strings. The patch carries nested-column metadata, restores byte values, and tests null, empty, ordered, and foreign-descriptor cases through Ray and the batch helper. Implementation: CLEAN in this diff.
