## Problem Python CI fails in both FLOAT and DOUBLE cases of `test_signed_zero_key_ranges_keep_versions_in_one_split`: `_build_split_from_pack` calls `table.path_factory()` for an unpartitioned table. The test's minimal table has no path factory, and there is no partition path to escape. ## Fix Skip the canonical versus legacy partition path comparison for an empty partition.
