Requirement fit: SUPPORTED. Implementation: CLEAN at 8f1abb85. Both the DataFusion UDF and pushed-down extraction now truncate fractional decimals and float/double values toward zero while retaining range checks, matching the Java Paimon behavior. I traced both execution paths and found no actionable issue.
