Closing as not planned. The fix I drafted in #10274 rejected the conflicting index at create time, but that collides head-on with #10247, which deliberately lets different global index definitions over one field coexist (a bitmap index over (a) alongside one over (a,b)). The direction I want is coexistence, so the right change is on the read side, grouping by indexFieldId plus extraFieldIds in DataEvolutionGlobalIndexScanner, not a create-time rejection.
