### Purpose BTree readers eagerly read and decoded the null bitmap during open, even when queries never accessed null rows. This caused one unnecessary block read. ### Brief change log Load the null bitmap on first access using `OnceCell`, reuse successful initialization, and propagate errors while allowing retries. ### Tests Read-range tests cover skipped reads, repeated and concurrent access, absent bitmaps, and failed initialization. BTree: 80 passed. Global index scanner: 59 passed. Workspace check, Clippy, and formatting passed with `fulltext, vortex` enabled for build and test checks. ### API and Format Breaking Rust API change: `null_bitmap()` is now async and returns `io::Result<&RoaringTreemap>`. Null bitmap read, CRC, and decoding errors now surface on first access instead of reader open. The file format is unchanged. ### Documentation Updated reader documentation and release notes. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
