### Purpose Since apache/paimon#9640, Java serializes DATE, TIME, TIMESTAMP, TIMESTAMP WITH LOCAL TIME ZONE and DECIMAL predicate literals as strings. The REST predicate parser refused every such literal, so a server rule on one of these columns could not be parsed and the read failed closed. ### Brief change log `Predicate::from_rest_json` reads the strings Java writes: the ISO forms of `LocalDate`, `LocalTime`, `LocalDateTime` and `Instant`, and a plain decimal rounded HALF_UP to the column scale, as `Decimal.fromBigDecimal` does. A decimal that no longer fits the precision is refused, where Java gives a null literal. The older Jackson number and array shapes still fail closed. ### Tests Each type's accepted and refused forms, including HALF_UP on both signs and a 38-digit literal. ### API and Format No API or format change. ### Documentation None. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
