Thanks for the review. This is addressed in the latest commit (CI green). `parse_format_partition_spec` now classifies a mutating partition value with `is_java_whitespace_only` instead of `str::trim`, so `DROP PARTITION (label = '<U+001C>')` and the other U+001C–U+001F controls are rejected before they can address the NULL/default partition. The single guard is shared by all four call sites (SHOW / ADD / DROP / ANALYZE), so the ADD arm is covered too. Added an integration regression driving the DROP through SQL against a registered NULL partition backed by a real Parquet file, asserting its registration and directory are left untouched. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
