We do have tables with this combination, but we are still on 1.4.2 and have not hit it yet. We can handle it by resetting `full-compaction.delta-commits` on 1.4.2 before upgrading to 2.0, so I will close this PR as you suggested. Since other users may run into the same situation, a one-line note in the upgrade guide to reset this option before upgrading to 2.0 might help.
