Thanks for the detailed verification and the clear explanation. Agreed — one fix for #1154 is the right outcome, and #1156 covers the same alias mapping and canonical lookup with equivalent regression coverage, so closing this as a duplicate makes sense. I'll follow #1156 and will leave any feedback there.
