Thanks for pointing out the rollout issue. Over last couple of versions of vortex we have been stabilising things to guarantee forward compatibility for the writers. In version 0.84.0 we have introduced concept of editions that lets you opt into newer features, before that you were automatically opted into things. From that version onwards you can pin the exact set of encodings that will be written. I think before this pr vortex integration in paimon wasn't quite usable so I doubt people would have the versioning problem and going forward this could be fully mitigated. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
