Thanks for the cleanup. I reviewed the production caller in `FileStoreCommitImpl.tryReuseManifestMergeResult` and ran all 7 `ListUtilsTest` tests on JDK 8 with the normal Maven checks enabled; they pass. The existing implementation already handles first contiguous replacement, null elements, and the no-match fallback. This change substitutes the JDK search without fixing a demonstrated commit/retry failure or establishing an end-to-end performance benefit. I am closing this standalone cleanup so we can focus review effort on changes with a concrete user or operational outcome.
