### Purpose Partition listing formats manifest values with `str()`, so a null DATE partition is returned as `"None"` instead of the configured default partition name. Consumers that parse the returned spec as DATE then fail. A null STRING partition can also be merged with the literal string `"None"`. Reuse the path factory's canonical partition encoding, as commit statistics already do after #10461. This fixes filesystem listing and the REST catalog's filesystem fallback, including custom default partition names. It does not rewrite partition metadata already stored by a REST server. ### Tests - Filesystem catalog and commit tests: 48 passed, 14 subtests passed. - REST catalog partition tests: 4 passed (localhost bypasses the environment HTTP proxy). - New regression writes null DATE and STRING partitions, checks default/custom null markers and filtering, and preserves literal `"None"`. The null DATE case fails before the fix. - Flake8 and `git diff --check` passed. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
