### Purpose Native CI tracks paimon-rust main. After apache/paimon-rust#1259, automatic compaction can add snapshots, merge file groups and invoke additional commit callbacks. Tests that assume an append-only history now fail. Use `write-only=true` in the rollback, creation-time and shard-balancing fixtures that require exact snapshots or unmerged files. The nullable-key MERGE test captures the source snapshot after writing and verifies that MERGE leaves it unchanged, retaining automatic compaction coverage. ### Tests - Same Rust head `7483471147a7`: unmodified Paimon master reproduces all 18 Native CI failures (196 passed). - With this change: 211 passed, 13 subtests passed; only the 3 pre-existing `$schemas.update_time` failures remain. Those require a separate Rust schema-cache fix; their assertions are unchanged here. - Ordinary Python REST catalog tests: 26 passed, 13 subtests passed. - Configured Flake8, Python 3.6 compilation and `git diff --check` passed. Both native runs cover all five affected test modules, with native planning, reading, writing, updates and commits enabled. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
