Sorry.. I can't even recollect much as it's been nearly a year since I opened pr and ticket.. I do remember that the rarity of the issue , with no exception thrown during write, but still read op seeing corrupted data and the data loss being equal to some 8 multiple bytes, led me to no flush being the problem..
