I have taken a quick look to the
[PR|[https://github.com/apache/phoenix/pull/240]] you raised; majority of the
actions that you introduced here are available in hbase-it now (for example -
CompactRegion, FlushRegion, MergeRegion, MoveRegion, SplitRegion etc); so we
can use those directly from there.
I was considering to integrate chaos with Pherf along with Phoenix IT because
we can have long running tests in pherf. In-fact, BigLinkedList scenario for
Phoenix will be a good value add for Pherf as well (with or without chaos).
