Yes, from the client. :) I meant that I still see all the work in the region
server (I see the region server going 100% CPU for a long time upon commit),
just that the user visible client thread isn't waiting for it.
Re: Parallelize... I meant that the Phoenix client will parallelize requests to
HBase (based on regions and guide posts). I was wondering whether the same it
true for writing the shadow cells (presumably it is, but just checking).
