Lars Hofhansl commented on PHOENIX-5326:
----------------------------------------
Thanks guys... I'll commit this one.
There are many other slow running tests. In the fact the test-suite times out
fairly frequently after 5h... In the last few runs it timed out before it even
managed to start IndexToolIT... Although that depends on which VM we happen to
get unfortunately. :(
I'll make a list and maybe we can look at them and see how to make them run
more quickly.
> IndexToolIT takes over 20-30 minutes.

> I tracked a few runs. 1500s or over 2000s are not the exception. And in some
> runs it simply does not finish (and the overall test-run times out after 300s)
> Also looked at the code, it is checking a lot of combinations.
> Do all of those make sense? For example there are 6 combination between all
> the transaction providers and snapshotting. That seems unnecessary.
