[~elserj] Is it the phoenix-client without the classifier ?
IIRC it's basically the unshaded phoenix-core now.
You need to use the hbase-x.x classifier for the actual shaded artifact.
I could not find a way to not build the unshaded artifact from maven, so it is
still generated.
