[~stoty] - thanks for the fix, and sorry for the trouble. 5909 had been sitting 
around for several months, and I rebased it but didn't think to check if it was 
introducing any new guava uses. When I checked that it compiled, I used mvn 
package instead of mvn install so it worked fine for me. Will keep an eye out 
for this in the future.
