Viraj Jasani commented on PHOENIX-6337:
---------------------------------------

Looks like supporting HBase 2.4.1+ might not be feasible with
phoenix-hbase-compat-2.4.0 module because we have IA.Private API compatibility
issue. Most likely we will need phoenix-hbase-compat-2.4.1 for supporting
2.4.1+ versions unfortunately.

As part of this Jira, we can just bump up 2.3.4 only, which can go with 5.1.0
release and as part of a follow up Jira, we can deal with supporting 2.4.1+ for
Phoenix 5.2.0 release.

> Bump default HBase versions on profiles 2.3 and 2.4
