Istvan Toth commented on PHOENIX-7098:
--------------------------------------

Internally, and in JDBC, Arrays are represented as arrays in Phoenix nd Java
Arrays in JDBC.
JSON is basically a varbinary, with added logic and functions for processing it.

It is not a crucial issue either way, I have a preference for grouping it with
scalars, but that's not a blocker.
The fact that we will have proper docs for is already great.

I suggest not merging the docs before the feature has landed.
You can attach an SVN patch file with your changes to the ticket if you do not
have permission to write to the website SVN.
