This is rather something to fix in these upstream project: * Hadoop * Iceberg * Spark It's BTW a well-known and well-documented issue (for example [reported to Hadoop here](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-19212) in June last year). It is also not only the `SecurityManager`, see the linked Hadoop-Jira. Polaris is just a _consumer_ of these dependencies, there is nothing that _we_ could fix, except being _very_ careful about the dependencies being added to Polaris.
