Review Comment:
   Makes sense, do you think it should be a storage access config or an 
application-level feature flag? catalog-level config might come in handy as it 
will allow admins to enable it for aws and disable for azure/gcp. Not an ideal 
solution for the problem you laid out in the other comment, but still something.
