I’ll go with the general S3-compatible approach and wire this through Iceberg’s S3FileIO using a config-driven toggle for AWS SDK trailing checksum validation, as you suggested. I’ll start exploring the config wiring and S3 client setup and will share a draft PR once I have an initial implementation.
