I’ll focus first on a minimal bootstrap/ingest path for Iceberg only — taking an existing set of Parquet files at a given root location and generating the required Iceberg metadata and manifests as a one-time operation. Once that’s in place and validated, we can look at extending the same approach to Paimon and at incremental ingestion as follow-up work.
